Cafe Bahar in Hyderabad Reopens After Supreme Court Ruling Over Family Dispute

Cafe Bahar, a beloved restaurant in Hyderabad, recently closed, leaving many food lovers disappointed. Known for serving some of the best biryani in the city, it has been a popular destination for both locals and tourists for decades.
The closure occurred on October 10, 2024, following a dispute among the restaurant’s family partners.This was the first time in 51 years that Cafe Bahar shut its doors.
The Telangana High Court had appointed an external professional to manage the restaurant. However, the Supreme Court overturned that decision.
The Supreme Court reinstated Ali Asghar Bolooki, the managing partner, to handle daily operations.
The court has also appointed a valuator to assess the restaurant’s assets. A timeline has been set to speed up the process.
The family dispute was over the management and division of assets.
